Microsoft Data Platform MVP Award

I’m very pleased, humbled, surprised and overall gleeful to announce I’m awarded the Microsoft Data Platform MVP 2017 Award.
This is a great honor and I’m grateful for all the support I’ve received of Microsoft, my peers and the SQL Server community over the past years. I’d like to take this moment to thank you all!

The #sqlfamily is a great community to be part of and I hope I will be able to contribute for a long time to come.

A couple of changes have been made to the MVP program:

  • there are no more quarterly cycles. Every month people can be awarded with the MPV award. I’m in the first batch of the monthly cycles 🙂
  • there’s one singly renewal period, in July. Basically this means my first MVP award will last from February 2017 to July 2018.

Thanks everyone for your support and for reading this blog!
Regards,
Koen
