I’m delighted to announce I’ll be giving a talk at Techorama 2019. It’s one of the best events I’ve ever been to and I’ll be in the good company of Grant Fritchey, Jen Stirrup, Pinal Dave and Brent Ozar (+ many others)! That’s right, the line-up for the data platform is amazing, so be sure to check out the agenda.
I’ll be talking about migrating SSIS projects to the Azure cloud. More specifically, by using the Azure-SSIS Integration Runtime in Azure Data Factory. The abstract:
Integration Services is a mature ETL product that has been around for more than a decade. A true alternative is still missing in the Azure cloud, but you can migrate your existing projects to Azure. In this session, we’ll cover the options you have for your migration project and we’ll go into detail on how we can run SSIS packages in Azure Data Factory.
Tickets are still being sold, but the event has the tendency to sell out, so don’t wait too long! If you’re at Techorama as well, come say hi!
