This Monday (the 5th of December 2022), my employer AE hosts a user group meeting for dataminds. There will be two sessions:
- Building a Low-Cost, High-Throughput Data Exchange Platform for Digital Meters on Azure, delivered by my colleague Bart Jolling. It’s an interesting session about a use case at a client. Bart will explain the architecture of the solution. I’ll join him for a tiny piece on how we enabled analytics on Azure Cosmos DB.
- Migrate your SSIS skills to Azure Data Factory, by myself. For the SSIS developers who want to know how they can get started with ADF.
It’ll be a very interesting evening, and catering is provided. For registration and practical details, check out the dataminds website.
I’ve uploaded my slidedeck to Github.

any chance to have the session in parallel hosted on Teams? Would be very interested to attend
It’s in-person only, but if you have access to the PASS Data Community Summit recordings, I did a similar session over there.
