Webinar – What’s New for Business Intelligence in SQL Server 2016

I’ll be giving a webinar for MSSQLTips.com on Thursday 29th October 2015.
The title is What’s New for Business Intelligence in SQL Server 2016 and its abstract goes like this:

The preview of SQL Server 2016 has been released right before the summer and it already seems this will be the biggest Business Intelligence release ever! A lot of features and improvements have been announced for SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and even MDS. In this educational webcast, you’ll get an overview of what you can expect in SQL Server 2016, accompanied with live demonstrations of course.

Topics covered by this webcast:

  • Changes in Master Data Services, such as syncing entities between models, better security and a full transaction history on the members which you can consult using views.
  • Improvements for Integration Services, like individual package deployment and custom logging levels.
  • Additions to Analysis Services Tabular. Lots of new DAX functions have been added as well as important performance improvements.
  • New chart types for Reporting Services, PowerPoint export of your reports and a customized parameter pane

Be an early adopter and join us in this webcast to learn more about the exciting new features in SQL Server 2016.

This webinar will for a large part be the same session as my SQL Server Days session of last month.
